This just in—PANTONE’S Color of the Year for 2022 is PANTONE 17-3938 Very Peri—and we think it very perfect!

We are emerging from an intense period of isolation and PANTONE has created a new, happier shade of periwinkle blue that is just what we need. Let’s Get Creative

At BaySix, we are always looking for creative ways to help brands make a lasting impression and we think this new hue will definitely do the trick. Right away, we love the idea of using Very Peri on coffee mugs, holiday ornaments, bags, and hats. PANTONE describes the color as being “a dynamic periwinkle blue hue with a vivifying violet-red undertone blends the faithfulness and constancy of blue with the energy and excitement of red.” If that does not get you excited to incorporate into your new branded apparel, then we do not know what will. 😉

In addition to the Color of the Year, PANTONE has created four unique color palettes featuring PANTONE 17-3938 Very Peri. Each of their palettes conveys a different mood, illustrating Very Peri’s versatility.

We can’t wait to use these in our latest designs. Any of the colors in the Balancing Act palette would look great on t-shirts. We love The Star of the Show palette for those who want more of a natural and classic look with a pop of color.
