We are proud to be a drop-off location for The No Women, No Girl Initiative. Stop by all year long with everyday essentials during our business hours, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. The items include everyday essentials such as bar soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, and tampons, to name a few. View the full list of items needed here.
During your next pharmacy or grocery store run, consider purchasing these items for the women and girls in need. The organization defines transition as, “any woman or girl experiencing homelessness to any degree.” Examples include women and girls housed in homeless shelters, residential programs, campgrounds, unaccompanied youth, or doubled-up families. Crisis examples include women and girls experiencing an emergency foster care placement, domestic violence, or being impacted by a natural disaster.
The Framework for Essentials
It’s easy to get involved! Either drop off your items with us or host your own drive. All you need is a box! This could be an amazon box, a Uhaul box, or just a plain brown box. You can host a drive for your neighborhood, your job, your school, or your church. To host a drive-in 2022, sign up here!
